The summer screening coincides with Space Release #16: Jani Ruscica at CIRCA Projects, Newcastle.
Jani Ruscica (B. 1978) lives and works in Helsinki. Recent solo exhibitions include Conversation in Pieces (Pt. 1), Galerie Anhava, Helsinki; Scene Shifts, in six movements, Hilary Crisp, London. Recent/forthcoming exhibitions and screenings: Rencontres Internationales, Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Berlin; Your tongue, teeth and ultimately your lips, curated by Minou Norouzi, Sheffield Fringe, UK; The Time of Our Image curated by Niekolaas Johannes Lekkerkerk, Kunsthalle Tallin, Estonia. Earlier this year – the first monograph on the artist’s work was published, Jani Ruscica: Anecdotal (2013).
